The world’s busiest

ports continue to grow larger and more efficient to meet demand. As the latest infographic from Visual Capitalist shows, East Asian ports are currently dominating the landscape, with seven out of ten of the world’s busiest ports located in China, followed by Singapore, South Korea and the UAE.

In fact, only five of the top 20 ports in the world are now located outside of East Asia. In Europe, only Rotterdam, Antwerp and Hamburg qualified for the top 20 list, followed by Los Angeles in the US, which came in on the 19^th spot.
